Having a great love for the beauty of the many places I have traveled, my artwork reflects what I see and feel in this magnificent world. My painting style has been influenced over the years by artists with whom I have studied and artist's work that I have admired. I am fascinated by the use of color, both vivid and neutral, and seek to depict that fascination in my work.  I love the European landscape, the seaside marsh and the everyday floral arrangement. Seeking to make these subjects "sing" on canvas is my ultimate goal in painting.  I approach my work with humility and awe, knowing that I have years and years of work ahead and much to learn of color and beauty.
